WeHomeCare makes software that home care providers can use to plan care, book and record visits, and organise their staff.

Care plan

  • Providers can keep each person's care plan, tasks and visit times in one place that the whole care team works from.

  • Care providers using WeHomeCare can build care plans from ready-made tasks, save a plan to reuse, and preview it as the care worker will see it.

  • In WeHomeCare, care workers can see the tasks and instructions from the person's care plan within each visit.

  • In WeHomeCare, care workers can mark each care plan task done, or not done with a listed reason, and add a note. Completed tasks show who and when.

Visits

  • Care providers using WeHomeCare can book each visit with a date, time, care workers and the care plan it follows, and see a person's visits by day, week or month.

  • In WeHomeCare, care workers can check in when they arrive at a visit and check out when they leave, and the visit shows both times.

  • Care providers using WeHomeCare can book more than one care worker on a visit, and each of them can check in separately.

  • Care providers using WeHomeCare can record each visit as scheduled, in progress, completed, cancelled or missed, and note the reason when a visit cannot go ahead.

  • Route planning

Care providers using WeHomeCare can see each care worker's planned visits for the day on a map.

  • Care providers using WeHomeCare can keep an emergency contact on each person's record.

  • Staff can use WeHomeCare in English, Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, Burmese, Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese.

  • Staff using WeHomeCare can open step-by-step guides for their role inside it.

For families

How WeHomeCare is set up differs from one care provider to another, so it is worth asking a provider which parts it uses.

  • Care timeline

WeHomeCare can be set up so care providers give families one shared record of visits to look at.

  • Visit updates

WeHomeCare can be set up so care providers tell families about a visit, or a change to one.

  • Messages

WeHomeCare can be set up so the care team sees and answers messages from families in one place.

Visit updates and messages from a care provider are not a way to reach urgent help.
  • Photos and videos

WeHomeCare can be set up so care providers share photos and videos from a visit with the families of the people they support.

  • Reports for families

WeHomeCare can be set up so care providers send families reports drawn from their visit records.

  • Shared visit schedule

WeHomeCare can be set up so care providers share a read-only visit schedule with families.

Families do not sign up to WeHomeCare themselves; care providers use it.
